The SAA Accessibility and Disability Section is exploring a potential upcoming panel on the uses of artificial intelligence in archives, and we'd love to connect with other SAA sections and subject matter experts who might be interested in collaborating.
We're particularly interested in perspectives on bias in machine learning and AI systems and how archivists can thoughtfully navigate those issues when using these tools. We'd also love to hear from archivists who have experimented with AI in their own work, whether the results have been successful, unsuccessful, or somewhere in between.
