With the imminent release of the updated Encoded Archival Standards suite, TS-EAS has made available an introductory video for the standards, available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kH-fghLBrLU. It provides an overview of the role of archival encoding standards, the updates to Encoded Archival Description (EAD) and Encoded Archival Context--Corporate Bodies, Persons, and Families (EAC-CPF), and the release of Encoded Archival Context--Functions (EAC-F).
Additional information about the updated standards will be shared by TS-EAS chairs Karin Bredenberg and Mary Samouelian this Friday, July 31st, at session 401 of the Society of American Archivists' annual meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana.
