Hello C&UA colleagues and SAA friends!
It is indeed still election season at SAA! If you have been undecided about running for the C&UA Steering since my last call, then allow me to encourage you wholeheartedly to run or run again! Ballots will not be finalized until June 23 (and are due to SAA on June 26) so there is still time for you to make your mark.
We have had wonderful interest for the Section's three (3) Steering Committee slots and one (1) Vice Chair-Chair Elect slot and would like even more, especially regarding Steering slots.
I would be very happy to discuss the positions and leadership possibilities off-line and at your convenience as I have filled both roles in the past.
You are also welcome simply to directly email me 1) Desired position; 2) A brief biographical statement and 3) a brief candidate's statement.
