    Why is advocacy important? Led by members of the Committee on Public Awareness (COPA) and the Committee on Public Policy (COPP), this workshop presents a process focused approach to advocacy. Through round-robin breakout sessions, presenters will provide attendees with real-world examples and a toolkit to guide advocacy activities with application to a wide range of scenarios, from strategic planning to the challenges of small archives. Archivists of all backgrounds should attend this session.

    Hosted by the SAA Committee on Public Policy and the Committee on Public Awareness.
