Corning Museum of Glass Event
Join Alli Hoag, David Whitehouse Research Residency for Artists recipient, Joe Schill, Rakow Research Library archivist, and Astrid van Giffen, associate conservator, for Connected by Glass: Lunchtime in the Lab, a first-of-its-kind look at Hoag's artistic investigation into the Rakow Library's extensive collection of Blaschka drawings.
Participants will follow Hoag as she examines Blaschka drawings with Schill and partners with van Giffen to study specimens in the Conservation Lab to identify what she can bring to her artistic practice.
