The Science, Technology, and Health Care (STHC) section of the Society of American Archivists (SAA) is actively seeking speakers for the virtual annual section meeting being held on Tuesday, July 31 from 2pm-3:30pm ET on the topic on archives outreach activities and events.
We welcome topics related to various types of outreach activities including but not limited to:
Virtual and in-person tours
Exhibit openings
Open houses
Lecture series
Do you have an outreach event that went well? Who took the initiative to organize the event? Were there any surprises? Were there any parts where there was room for improvement? Anything you would have done differently?
Speakers will share a short presentation (10 minutes), followed by a moderated audience Q&A and group discussion. If you would like to participate or know someone who might be interested, please email Tali Han (
