The College and University Archives Section is beginning a revision of the College and University Archives Guidelines. We're looking for feedback from the SAA community and invite all members, interested organizations, and individuals to share comments and suggestions.
Please complete the Feedback Form by July 31. In order to give participants the ability to leave and return to the form as needed, the form will collect emails. The committee will maintain the confidentiality of all participants.
The revision process includes two opportunities to provide feedback, and each time the revision committee will review comments and incorporate them. The completed revision will then be routed for final approval by the SAA Standards Committee and the SAA Council. We anticipate the revision will conclude in Winter 2027.
The C&UA Section is hosting a Coffee Chat on Wednesday, July 8 at 12 PM (CST) / 1PM (EST) to discuss the Guidelines revision. This will be an opportunity to for all discuss the revision with the Section. Please find details in the separate announcement.
