The Collection Management Section seeks presenters for its Annual Meeting, which will be held on Tuesday, July 29th from 2-3:30pm EST.
In this era of cuts and shrinking money for cultural heritage, the Collection Management Section's annual meeting theme will be collaboration and collection management. Possible topics include, but are not limited to:
- Ideas or strategies we can use to work with our colleagues collectively to tackle collection management issues, within our institutional network, with local organizations, or nationally
- Ideas or strategies colleagues can offer or obtain mutual aid in GLAM fields
- Methods or strategies archivists are using to pivot or adjust to the lack of federal grants and or monetary uncertainty
- Non-federal granting opportunities or working with private entities
- Mentorship opportunities- ways to find a mentor or become one
