    Hello everyone,

    I have been made aware that the registration link isn't working from the earlier post, thank you to all that have reached out, I thought everyone loved a 404 error, it gives a bit of mystery. For all that actually want to attend, here is (I think and hope) the proper Registration page and if this fails you, here is the path to the SAA annual meetings calendar: Upcoming Events

    Register for the Audio & Moving Image annual section meeting

    Thursday May 28 at 1pm PDT

    The agenda will focus on: section business, elections, and the in-person annual meeting. In addition there will be a presentation by Tanya Yule, Descriptions Services Manager for Archival Control, Hoover Institution Library & Archives, Stanford University (section chair). The presentation will focus on the entire workflow of a mass digitization project of sound recordings for the Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty broadcast collection (approx 1900 recordings, in multiple languages). The presention will focus on pre-vendor setup, metadata capture, technical requirements, and creating visible (full-text searchable) collections using LibNova's OpenAccess platform. 

    You do not need to be an active SAA member to attend, the meetings are open to everyone 🙂
