The Accessioning, Acquisitions, and Appraisal Section is thrilled to invite everyone to 2022's second Third Thursday chat, this Thursday, July 21, at: 2:30-3:30 PM EST/ 1:30-2:30 PM CST/ 12:30-1:30 PM MST/ 11:30 AM-12:30 PM PST.
This month we are excited to explore extensible accessioning and processing in practice with Lexy deGraffenreid (she/her), Head of Collection Services at Penn State's Eberly Family Special Collections Library, Jessica Maddox, Collections Management Archivist for the University of Nevada, Reno, Special Collections and University Archives Department, and Rose Oliveira, Accessioning Archivist at the University of Virginia.
Presenters will share what extensible/ iterative archival management looks like at their institutions as we stride towards progress, not perfection. There will be plenty of time devoted to audience questions and discussion, so please come with any questions, feedback, and personal experiences. We hope to have a robust conversation!
