The results of SAA's 2026 election are in! The following individuals have been elected to serve:
- Alison Clemens (Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library) has been elected SAA Vice President/President-Elect. Clemens begins a one-year term as vice president this August and will become SAA's 82nd president in 2027–2028.
- Alexis Antracoli (Bentley Historical Library, University of Michigan), Jessica Tai (Bancroft Library, University of California, Berkeley), and Gregory Wiedeman (University of Albany, SUNY) have been elected to the SAA Council for three-year terms beginning this August (2026–2029).
- The 2026 Nominating Committee will consist of Sage Innerarity (Peabody Essex Museum), Adam Kriesberg (Simmons University School of Library and Information Science), and Christina Zamon (Georgia State University). As the individual who received the most votes, Sage Innerarity will serve as chair of the Committee. In addition, the Nominating Committee includes two third-year Council members, Bryan Whitledge and Jillian Cuellar.
SAA is grateful to all of the individuals who put their names forward for the 2026 Ballot, as well as to the 2026 Nominating Committee for their service.
