Just a friendly reminder that registration is now open for SNACSchool: Create and Edit in SNAC, taking place on Tuesday afternoon, July 29 at Tulane University in New Orleans, just before the SAA Annual Meeting gets underway.
If you'll be arriving early for SAA, we hope you'll join us for a hands-on workshop exploring Social Networks and Archival Contexts (SNAC)-a free, online discovery platform that connects archival collections around the world through shared descriptions of people, families, and organizations.
This interactive session will introduce participants to creating and editing archival authority data in SNAC. We'll cover the fundamentals of working with SNAC records, review archival authority concepts, demonstrate editing workflows, and provide guided practice with plenty of time for questions. Whether you're completely new to SNAC or looking to refresh your skills, YOU ARE WELCOME!
