Hello all,
Archival Issues, the journal of the Midwest Archives Conference, is looking for reviewers for a number of recent publications.
If you've completed a review for us in the past year, please refrain from responding so that others who have never reviewed for us before or who haven't done so in a while get the opportunity. Also, you don't have to be a member of MAC to review a publication for us. Reviews are generally 1000-1500 words long and must follow the MAC Style Guide.
Here's the list of available publications:
1. Archival Afterlives: Life, Death, and Knowledge-Making in Early Modern British Scientific and Medical Archives. Edited by Vera Keller, Anna Marie Roos, and Elizabeth Yale. 2018
2. The Theory and Craft of Digital Preservation. By Trevor Owens. 2018
3. Digital Curation Fundamentals. By Jody L. Deridder. 2018
4. The No Non-Sense Guide to Born-Digital Content. By Heather Ryan and Walker Sampson. 2018
5. Library Management 101: A Practical Guide, Second Edition. Edited by Lisa K. Hussey and Diane L. Velasquez. 2019
6. Reappraisal and Deaccessioning in Archives and Special Collections. Edited by Laura Uglean Jackson. 2019
7. Foundations of Information Policy. By Paul T. Jaeger and Natalie Greene Taylor. 2019
8. Building Digital Libraries, Second Edition. By Kyle Banerjee and Terry Reese, Jr. 2019
9. Foundations of Information Ethics. Edited by John T. F. Burgess and Emily J. M. Knox. 2019
These tend to get claimed rather quickly, so if you're interested please let me know as soon as possible (send expressions of interest to npavlik@bgsu.edu). Feel free to forward this along to other people you feel might be interested in reviewing these publications or who may be interested in reviewing for us in the future.
Sincerely,
Nick Pavlik
