Many of you have used Light Impressions in the past as a supplier for archival materials.  I want to warn you away from this company as they are apparently now defunct.  You already may have had dissatisfying experiences with them since they have had shaky customer service for a while.  Now it appears that it is not possible to do business with them at all.  I recently placed an order (for a listed product that I now think does not even exist and has never been manufactured), waited six weeks, and when I tried to contact them, nobody answered phones or email. One of their listed numbers is disconnected.  They are not reachable and I suspect they have no intention of filling orders despite the fact that the website still takes them. I did not lose any money but I am in private practice and my client has waited patiently for document preservation that requires these supplies.  Something like this can damage my reputation and that is why I think it was important to report this here.  Also, I do not want any of you to lose money in case they do take it and then make themselves unavailable.
