We hope you are able to join us on the banks of the Grand River at the Downtown Courtyard by Marriott in Grand Rapids for our Annual Meeting June 16-17, 2022!

This year's meeting will be held in the middle of the energetic Grand Rapids scene, surrounded by dozens of the city's best restaurants and other attractions such as the Grand Rapids Art Museum, Grand Rapids Civic Theater, and the Grand Rapids Children's Museum. Make sure to bring your adventuring spirit and enjoy exploring downtown!

An impressive list of informational and educational programs includes such topics as social justice history in organizational records, outreach, reparative cataloging, digital preservation, architectural collections, records of crime, and an audiovisual media mini workshop. In addition, our keynote speaker Joel Westphal, Deputy Director of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum, will speak on lessons learned from capturing, managing, and archiving the largest digital collection of war records in our nation's history.

Finally, a block of rooms has been reserved for June 15 – 17. Room rates, not including taxes, are $179 per night.  The reservation cut-off date is May 20, 2022 for the conference rate. Please call (616) 242-6000 to make reservations, and mention that you are staying as part of the Michigan Archival Association conference for the group rate. Visit the online booking page.
