Interested in supporting the future of the archival profession through service with the SAA Foundation? Join members of the SAA Foundation Board of Directors for an informational session about upcoming volunteer opportunities with the Foundation.
Participants will learn about the Foundation's mission, the impact of its grants, awards, and fundraising initiatives, and the important work carried out by its committees. This session will provide an overview of the upcoming application process for service on the Development Committee, Grant Review Committee, and the National Disaster Recovery Fund for Archives, as well as opportunities to serve as an Emerging Professional.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about committee responsibilities, expectations for service, and how volunteers help advance the Foundation's support of archivists, archival programs, and the communities they serve.
