Make an Impact: SAA Foundation Board of Directors Information Session

Interested in helping shape the future of the SAA Foundation and supporting the archival profession through leadership and service? 

Join members of the SAA Foundation Board of Directors for an informational session about upcoming opportunities to serve as an Elected Director or Emerging Professional on the Foundation Board. Participants will learn about the Foundation’s mission, governance structure, and the vital role the Board plays in advancing programs, grants, awards, fundraising initiatives, and support for archivists and archival repositories. 

This session will provide an overview of Board member responsibilities, expectations for service, and the upcoming application and nominations process. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how Board members contribute to strategic leadership, stewardship of Foundation resources, and the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the archival profession and the communities it serves.
