Join Saad Kahn, VP for Digital Commons, Christa Johnson-Perkins, Product Director for Digital Commons and the 12 other institutions that have already registered and plan to present at the 2026 Fall Digital Commons IR+ meeting!
The suggested registration deadline for the Heartland DC IR+ meeting is approaching. We hope you will consider attending and sharing the creative and interesting things your institution is doing with and around the repository. Take this opportunity to show off that hard work!
Some of the topics that are already slated to be covered include:
-
The DC redesign process
-
Repository launches
-
First year repository manager experiences
-
Managing aging metadata and static collections
-
Creative repository collections
-
Extracting and transforming data from multiple API sources
-
Unpacking Accessibility
We would love to hear about how you promote your repository. What are your processes? How do you handle content removal requests? How do you handle copyright education for contributors? Successes and/or failures are all helpful for others to learn about. If you have a repository, you have something the rest of us would love to hear about. Please consider presenting a topic, no matter how long or short it is. Impromptu lightning rounds will also be available!
The meeting will take place Oct. 22-23, 2026 in Rolla, MO on the Missouri S&T campus. See the attached flyer for more information. Registration links are also provided below.
