  • 1.  Survey: Examining the Impact of COVID-19 on Archives and Special Collections

    Posted Sep 15, 2021 04:02 PM
You are invited to participate in an online survey examining the impact of COVID-19 on archives and special collections.
    Principal Investigator
    Zachary G. Stein
    Head of Special Collections/Assistant Professor
    Edith Garland Dupré Library
    University of Louisiana at Lafayette
    Purpose of Study
The COVID-19 pandemic required archivists and special collections staff to change the ways they worked to accommodate conditions to protect patrons and themselves. The goal of this study is to gauge insight into how archivists adjusted to the pandemic and the effect these adjustments had on their work when returning to campus.
Procedure of Study: Participants will be asked to take a survey on conditions and accommodations adopted when returning to work in the library. The survey should take roughly 10-20 minutes to complete. Participation is optional and there is no penalty for not completing the survey.
