    Seeking the Elizabeth Arden Archives

Calling all archivists and super-sleuths. Does anyone know where Elizabeth Arden's personal and/or professional papers are housed? Do any of you work with public or private collections that may contain Elizabeth Arden archival material? Have any of you done related research and come across references to same? Elizabeth Arden also went by Elizabeth Graham and Florence Nightingale Graham.

I am helping Stacy A. Cordery, Author and Professor, Department of History, Iowa State University, who has been attempting to locate Elizabeth Arden archival material, catalogued or uncatalogued, that might once have existed connected to Arden's life and/or business. She is aware of related collections at Keeneland, FIT, the Met, the Hagley, the Smithsonian, Library of Congress, the Ransom Center, the AMA, Duke, Yale, Syracuse, University of Arizona, University of Southern Maine, UNC-Greensboro, Unilever in Port Sunlight, and the Hoover and the Eisenhower Presidential Libraries. All leads in WorldCat have been exhausted, too.

The Elizabeth Arden papers supposedly exist. She has hit a dead end trying to find them. "Elizabeth Arden Archives" have been referenced in secondary materials. Any leads, however tenuous, would be so greatly appreciated. Feel free to contact me and/or Stacy A. Cordery directly.

Wishing you all a fabulous time at SAA 2019 in Austin if you there. Stay cool!
