On December 14, the major disaster declaration for the State of Louisiana was amended to include additional counties determined to have been affected by Hurricane Ida. Permanent Work (Categories C–G, which includes repair of facilities and treatment of damaged collections) under Public Assistance has been made available for the following 11 parishes:
Ascension, Assumption, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Pointe Coupee, St. Helena, St. Martin, St. Mary, and West Feliciana
The deadline to apply for Public Assistance is January 13, 2022, 30 days from the amendment date. For more information, your Louisiana colleagues can visit Public Assistance Overview (la.gov).
