    Dear Colleagues,

My apologies for the frustration on the link for this event. I've asked SAA to correct the automatic hyperlinking of the "." when next to a link. Here is the same (and correct link) sans period: https://rachaelcristine.mykajabi.com/open-to-open-source-registration-page

Date and Time: July 22 @11AM Pacific; it will be recorded and a recording link will be sent to all registrants. Autocaptioning will be available.

Abstract: For collection workers in archives and museums, working with open source software tools can be the best option to help you meet your online collection goals. Open source products are free to low cost, usually have a community of colleagues improving the product, and offer a fairly easy option to display collections online. But which open source product is the right one for you? And what opportunities and challenges arise when working with open source products? In this webinar Rachael will review open source options for Collections Management Systems (CMS) to consider, review the "need to know" information before you make a commitment to an open source product, and teach you how to make the case to your boss.

    Thank you,

    Rachael
