The Preservation Section Steering committee is seeking volunteers to join us in outreach, education, and fundraising efforts this year! Archivists, librarians, conservators, preservation specialists, and current students are all welcome to volunteer.

- Advocating for preservation related sessions and trainings at SAA Annual Meeting

- Following us on Twitter? Help represent the Preservation Section on social media by tweeting about your favorite preservation issues, tips, and news
- Help spread the word about preservation related news, grants, jobs, and other opportunities on our microsite and on our listserv
- Program Committee
- Shape next year's 2021 SAA Preservation Section Program! Over the last few years we have covered Preservation in the Reading Room, Disaster Recovery, and Sustainable Preservation and Climate Change.... what's next?
- Nominating Committee
- Help us recruit new section leaders!
- National Disaster Recovery Fund for Archives (NDRFA) Committee
- For many years, the Preservation Section has raised money to help support our colleagues when disaster strikes. We've sold tee shirts, aprons, and for the past few years, had great success with our NDRFA Silent Auction. What will we plan next?
- Spread the word about the NDRFA resources.
