    Hello,
We are requesting your participation in a research study about the impact of COVID-19 on the careers of archivists and academic librarians. This study is being conducted by Heather Soyka and Mallory McCorkhill at the School of Information at Kent State University.

The purpose of this research is to 1) understand the challenges faced by professionals in the archives and library fields impacted by COVID-19, 2) explore changes in working conditions for archivists in institutions impacted by COVID-19, and 3) identify whether the pandemic response changed how the participants enact their careers. The results of this study will be shared with the archives and records community once completed.

If you agree to take part in this study, you will be asked to complete a survey and may be selected to participate in a voluntary follow up interview. This survey will ask about aspects of your work that have changed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic response. The survey will take you approximately 15 to 20 minutes or less to complete.
