I am a graduate student pursuing my MLS at Queens College, CUNY. For my capstone research project, I am surveying practitioners at American academic institutions about their experiences remediating harmful language in collection description. Lately, archival literature has reflected a shift toward prioritizing reparative work in the field. One of the objectives of my research is to gauge how practitioners react to this discourse.
The questionnaire has up to 25 questions related to redescription.
The purpose of this questionnaire is for educational purposes only. Your participation is voluntary and all responses will remain anonymous. The results of this survey will not be published nor shared outside of my department.
