The Acquisitions and Appraisal and Collections Management Section seeks two presenters to give brief presentations at our Virtual Joint Meeting at the Society of American Archivists Annual Meeting. The topic of the meeting will be Acquisitions and Accessioning: Gaps and Overlap. We are particularly interested in presentations that can speak to issues of operational costs/true cost of ownership of acquiring and gaining initial control over collections and those that can speak to the cultural competency skills needed to acquire and accession collections from marginalized communities.
