The Council on Library and Information Resources and the Digital Library Federation are delighted to share with you some major announcements about our events taking place next month.
- Programs for ALL events (the DLF Forum; NDSA's Digital Preservation 2020: Get Active with Digital Preservation; and 5 for 5: Conversations on Five Years of Digitizing Hidden Collections) are now available. Some details are still being determined, but we think you'll like what you'll see.
- As part of our program, we're delighted to announce our amazing 2020 keynote speakers for the DLF Forum and NDSA's Digital Preservation 2020. Stacey Patton and Yeshimabeit Milner will be keynoting the DLF Forum, and Jennifer Ferretti will be keynoting DigiPres.
- Now that you've checked out the great content we're offering next month, it's time to register. Registration for ALL events is also now open. Everything is free and with unlimited capacity, but you'll definitely want to sign up ASAP so you can be in the know in November. All content is pre-recorded, and discussion will be available and encouraged through the events' Slack workspace.

- Apply to Be a Community Journalist: This year, we will be providing $250 stipends to a cohort of 10 Virtual DLF Forum attendees from a variety of backgrounds. We will feature the voices and experiences of our 2020 Community Journalists on the DLF blog after our events this fall. Apply by October 25.
- SAVE THE DATE: Our Committee for Equity and Inclusion is back this year with a follow-up webinar to their 2019 Active Bystander Orientation. Mark your calendar for Tuesday, October 20 at 2pm ET for Active Bystanders in Virtual Spaces. Registration information coming soon.
