2019 Librarians Active Learning Institute (LALI)

    Applications Now Open!

When is the last time you were able to spend several days focused solely on your teaching?

Dartmouth College is pleased to announce that applications are open for the annual Librarians Active Learning Institute (LALI) and the Archives and Special Collections track (LALI-ASC). By exploring evidence-based practices that advance student learning, you will come away with new approaches and ideas to incorporate into your teaching. Your students will have more fun, learn more, and maybe even change their minds-and yours-about what library instruction can accomplish.

Reinvigorate your practice in a community of peers!

    Scholarships:

LALI offers scholarships to cover all or part of the cost of the program depending on the needs of the applicants and the funds available. The purpose of the scholarships is to encourage attendance by participants with limited professional development support. In determining awards, the scholarships committee evaluates both the applicant's financial need and the potential impact attendance would have on the applicant's career development. LALI follows a need-blind admissions process, and scholarship applications are reviewed only after attendees for each session have been evaluated and accepted into the program.

To apply for a scholarship, visit the LALI website and click on the Tuition & Accommodations section.
