    Good morning Colleagues,

    Just as a reminder that this job is still open and taking in applicants review is ongoing!

    The Richard L. D. and Marjorie J. Morse Department of Special Collections at Kansas State University Libraries invites applications and nominations for the position of Digital Resources Archivist. This full-time, tenure-track faculty position reports to the Head of Special Collections and leads efforts to preserve and provide access to born-digital and digitized content at the Libraries. This position also advises Libraries' colleagues and university personnel on strategies and best practices relative to creating, preserving, and providing access to digital resources.

    During the incumbent's first year, they will be responsible for establishing a new digitization lab made possible by a gift from the Butler Family Community Foundation. Duties during this time will include selecting and recommending equipment to purchase, reviewing existing policies and procedures relative to creating and managing digital objects, creating other documentation, establishing project priorities, and leading digitization projects.
