In just two weeks, the archives community will come together at ARCHIVES*RECORDS 2021-and we hope you'll be there, too!

Don't miss the early-bird deadline.  Register by Friday, July 23, and Save!
The conference always provides many opportunities to connect, learn, and grow professionally-and the 2021 meeting is no exception!

You may have been attending SAA section and appointed group meetings throughout the month of July, but the heart of SAA's Annual Meeting is still to come.

Here's a brief overview of what's to come during the first week in August:

The main conference will be held from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm Central time from Wednesday, August 4, through Friday, August 6. Ten sessions accepted by the Program Committee will be presented, along with two plenaries, open forums, sponsor mini-theaters, all-new "Conversation Lounges," and a variety of virtual repository tours and networking events. (Some networking events will be scheduled after 4:00 pm CT.)

Twenty on-demand sessions selected by the Program Committee are being pre-recorded and will be released to conference registrants on Monday, July 26. You can begin viewing them right away-and then attend Live Q&A sessions with the speakers during the main conference! See the conference schedule for more information.

Professional posters and graduate student posters will be displayed on a dedicated page on the conference platform beginning on Monday, August 2, and will remain available via the conference website.

Enhance your professional development with these additional pre-conference offerings:

On Monday, August 2, Micaela Blei will once again present a "Storytelling Workshop Master Class" to help you refine or refresh your storytelling skills. Sponsored by the Committee on Public Awareness, the workshop requires a separate registration and modest fee ($49).

On Tuesday, August 3, join members of the Committee on Public Awareness and Committee on Public Policy for "Build a Bridge to Stand: Making the Ask Even in Uncertain Times," which presents a process-focused approach to advocacy that you can apply to your own environment. (No additional fee for conference registrants.)

Register now for access to three extraordinary days of learning-at your convenience!

Your registration includes: Full access to all 30 live and pre-recorded sessions, thought-provoking general sessions, poster presentations, networking opportunities, Mini-Theater presentations by our industry partners, and more throughout the conference week, as well as on-demand access after the conference.
