    Posted Aug 27, 2019 04:03 PM

The BitCuratorEdu project team is excited to announce the release of three webinars designed to address the needs of educational providers and their IT partners. The BitCuratorEdu project is a three-year effort funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) to study and advance the adoption of digital forensics tools and methods in libraries and archives through professional education efforts. This project is a partnership between Educopia Institute and the School of Information and Library Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with the Council of State Archivists, several organizations that provide or facilitate professional continuing education, and several Masters-level programs in library and information science.

Introduction to the BitCurator Environment for Educators and BitCurator Access and NLP for Educators are webinars designed for instructors interested in teaching BitCurator in the classroom, and give an overview with demonstrations of first the BitCurator environment, and then Bitcurator Access and BitCurator NLP.

BitCurator Environment, BitCurator Access and BitCurator NLP: Introduction for IT Professionals was designed for IT professionals responsible for managing institutional technology deployment and maintenance, and is an overview of BitCurator tools and how to administer and support them. Please share this announcement with other educators or trainers who might find these webinars useful!

The Educopia Institute is a nonprofit organization that empowers collaborative communities to create, share, and preserve knowledge. We facilitate four professional communities (including the BitCurator Consortium), administer research grants, and provide a range of consulting services.
