In an attempt to welcome as many guests as possible to what have been truly wonderful discussions across myriad topics (mostly connected to managing during pandemic times) the Steering Committee of the College and University Archives (C&UA) Section would like to invite you to join us in our next online coffee chat scheduled for this Wednesday at 3pm EST, 2pm CST. Please join C&UA Immediate Past Chair, Michelle Sweetser as she leads an informal discussion about research and publishing in the archives field. Bring your questions and ideas on your current research projects, brainstorm ideas for new research projects, find ways to network and add research partners, and discuss how the publishing process works.
After 19 months of weekly chats, we have learned many lessons, not the least of which is that archives practice truly transcends section boundaries and we have experienced much-added value when non-C&UA section members have contributed.
We also have gotten the message from chat visitors that while one might not be employed by a college or university today, one just might be tomorrow! Be ready for such a transition well beforehand by getting an inside glimpse into such environments via our chats
So, whether you are a C&UA member or not, please join in the conversation; we would love to hear from you!
