Improving service to researchers

  • 1.  Improving service to researchers

[Please forgive a small amount of cross-posting!]

On behalf of Houghton Library's Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Anti-Racism (DIBAR) Working Group, I enthusiastically invite your recommendations and comment on sources of education in the practice of service to researchers, sometimes called "customer service".

We're interested in great speakers, trainers, webinars, blogs, what have you that approach this topic. It would be great if they could be situated in or near DIBAR practice, but content from another angle might work, too. This isn't so much about outreach; it's about personal and group learning in creating an effective and welcoming environment. We're very interested in your good (and bad) experiences with training and learning in all media and in the real world.

Please send your thoughts, names, and URLs to me. With gratitude,

    Melanie
