This month, we welcome Michelle Ganz, Staff Archivist for the History Factory and Immediate Past Chair for the SAA Accessibility & Disability Section. Michelle was born severely deaf and very nearsighted. She has been an archivist for around 15 years and has been a long-time advocate for disability and intersectional accessibility. When she's not advocating on behalf of archivists she spends a lot of time reading and supporting everyone else's advocacy efforts. Michelle's chat will focus on accessibility for all in repository Reading Rooms.
We welcome all sections to join us! In our almost two years of chats, we have learned many lessons, not the least of which is that archives practice truly transcends section boundaries. We have experienced much-added value when non-C&UA section members have contributed. Whether you want to contribute or simply listen in, we're happy to hear from all members.
