Dear colleagues,
The Society of American Archivists' Mentoring Program is currently seeking mentoring volunteers to meet specific grographical requests for mentors located in the DMV (DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia) or Boston areas, and for the Northeast and Southeast generally.
If you meet these criteria, or even if you do not, please consider volunteering! The Mentoring Program works year round to connect participants with shared interests in various aspects of the archival profession. The goal is to cultivate career development and communication between members with areas of expertise and members who want to build their knowledge within those areas. SAA colleagues who have served as mentors report enjoying their experience working with mentees to help meet their goals. You can find some tips on how to begin at the Mentoring Program's Tip Sheet.
